WHY ODPHI?

How has ODPhi enhanced your college experience in both business and social contexts?
The membership you attain by joining ODPhi is a small but dedicated group. Through this tight community, you are constantly updated with events and networking opportunities that might not be available to you if you are running solo. It also has helped me broaden my social network and help me develop social skills to keep and maintain friendships both personally and professionally.
In what ways has ODPhi prepared you for your future?
ODPhi has taught me the importance of having a support network. Through life there will be setbacks and unexpected turns. Facing these issues alone can be hard and stressful but knowing that you have proper people behind your back can smooth out the process by a lot. Another aspect of the fraternity that prepares me for the future is the professionalism it requires to smoothly run a organization. It is my first experience of what the inner workings of what a business does and how it requires a level head and patience. I hope to translate these experiences into forging a better work attitude and mindset.
Any words of wisdom for new incoming Brothers?
Education is for the mind as experience is for the soul. Keep a balanced life and make sure your priorities are in order.
