WHY ODPHI?
How has ODPhi enhanced your college experience in both business and social contexts?
Omega Delta Phi, Inc. has done a great job of connecting me to valuable University of Washington resources I would not have been able to access prior to my joining. In the social context, this brotherhood has exposed me to a multicultural community at the University of Washington that connects regularly to promote service, leadership, and awareness.
In what ways has ODPhi prepared you for your future?
The brotherhood of Omega Delta Phi has shown me the professionalism needed to create “bridges” and to establish networks that will, in turn, result in shadowing, internship, and/or employment opportunities. The Lambda Chapter of Omega Delta Phi, Inc. consists of a group of brothers who have different experiences and career goals. Having the opportunity to talk to the brothers of Lambda Chapter allowed me to better shape my career and educational paths by understanding and learning from these different experiences.
Any words of wisdom for new incoming Brothers?
Do not be afraid to speak your mind or to challenge those who have been brothers of Omega Delta Phi, Inc. longer than you have. Challenge authority within reason.
