What year did you start at the University of Washington?  

Autumn 2017.

 

Tell us a little about your major?  

I plan to major in Informatics and pursue a career in software development within a major tech company, such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or Intel.

 

 

WHY ODPHI?

 

How has ODPhi enhanced your college experience in both business and social contexts?

It has helped me meet different people that I wouldn't have otherwise and helped me grow personally. I was quiet and had a hard time finding a community on campus. This brotherhood became my home away from home and have a foundation of people I can turn to. In the business context, it's helped me know how to dress up for a meeting, respect rules, and know how to work with people with different ideas.

 

In what ways has ODPhi prepared you for your future?

The study tables have helped me stay on track with my classes and Omega Delta Phi has various leadership positions brothers can take up, which can boost your resume. It's also helped me connect with brothers who are also in the field I'm interested in.

 

Any words of wisdom for new incoming Brothers?

Stay true to who you are. Don't change to conform to what others are doing. If something isn't right to you, say something and don't be afraid to stick to it. Be prepared to grow and learn about yourself.
